Muscle Memory can cause behavior issues. In this video with this horse he was abused by his prior owners. When his new owners bought him he was very skinny, in pain, and scared. After putting weight on him and getting him out of pain he had a bucking issue. He would buck when he thought the worst was coming from being abused in the past. With horses like this you have to do exercises with them to help build there confidence and trust again.
